LOADMAC – DEDICATED UK TRUCK-MOUNTED-FORKLIFTS

5 March 2007

The first range of truck-mounted-forklifts ever manufactured specifically for the UK, has been launched by Loadmac – with the machines literally taking the roads by storm.

Loadmac ForkliftsLoadmac, based in Rugby, whose range also includes multi-directional forklifts, say its truck-mounted forklifts incorporate “local” design and engineering knowledge to deliver products dedicated the UK’s very specific requirements.

Loadmac, has taken the already proven truck-mounted-forklift concept and delivered something new – a range of machines that are built to defy physics. The Loadmac is shorter and considerably lighter than most competing models – but has the same – and usually better lift capacity and stability, with models capable of lifting and manoeuvring from 1500 kg to 3000 kg.

By being lighter payload is significantly improved, making the machine even more cost effective for the operator. In addition the Loadmac is more compact/shorter than other brands. As a result it can be mounted closer to the host vehicle improving the centre of gravity effect and therefore improving the driving road handling characteristics of the HGV.

Loadmac has an extensive understanding of truck-mounted-forklift applications, which has led to the development of a range designed with the UK’s specific requirements in mind. Whether handling timber, fencing, recyclables, building products – heavy and light-side, windows, concrete, scaffolding, animal feed or agricultural products there’s a Loadmac to meet the users absolute needs.

The range is supported by a comprehensive preventative maintenance service, which is geared up to ensure every Loadmac truck-mounted-forklift gives superb long-term performance.

Loadmac also looks after all makes of truck-mounted forklifts, offering planned servicing and nationwide breakdown cover. Furthermore, the Company will refurbish old truck-mounted forklifts to give them a presentable and reliable (and highly profitable, for the user) second life.
