Ultimate VOR service from Loadmac
20 April 2007
The UK’s fasted growing truck-mounted forklift business has launched a VOR (Vehicle off Road) package which is so advanced it means no matter where a break down occurs in the UK, or what make the machine is – it will be attended to by a trained engineer usually within just two hours.
Since the service’s launch in 2006, incredible success has been achieved in ensuring busy materials handling and transport businesses are up and running again in as little as two hours in some cases, via a strategically chosen team of trained and equipped engineers located round the country.
The package is the very first “all make” VOR service available and it’s an initiative, which has further underpinned Loadmac’s success as offering the ultimate in truck-mounted forklift technology and support.
Walls & Ceilings International Ltd is one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the construction industry. Down time must be minimised and when a recent breakdown of a Moffett truck-mounted forklift was attended to by Loadmac, it was up and running again in just one hour. Transport Manager, Mark Blackburn said, “Our customers rely on us having the very best logistics package available – it’s part of our service. Loadmac is helping us to offer improved service – even in the event of the occasional breakdown.”
Loadmac’s engineers undergo a comprehensive training course, which means they can diagnose faulty machines and quickly provide a quality solution to most breakdowns. The service means absolute peace of mind for thousands of truck-mounted forklift users who simply cannot afford for a breakdown to cause busy delivery or collection schedules to be disrupted.
A call out cost of £60 anywhere in the UK means the VOR package is extremely cost effective. Furthermore, Loadmac offers a number of service packages, including servicing, preventative maintenance, contract maintenance and LOLER inspections – for extreme flexibility and operator/fleet safety. Loadmac is an expert in tailoring a maintenance package to suit the customer’s machine usage and financial preference.
Based in Rugby, the Loadmac range includes multi-directional forklifts and incorporates “local” design and engineering knowledge to deliver products dedicated the UK’s very specific requirements.
Loadmac, has taken the already proven truck-mounted-forklift concept and delivered something new – a range of machines that are built to defy physics. The Loadmac is shorter and considerably lighter than most competing models – but has the same – and usually better lift capacity and stability, with models capable of lifting and manoeuvring loads from 1500 kg to 3000 kg.
By being lighter, payload is significantly improved, making the machine even more cost effective for the operator. By being compact/shorter than other brand, a Loadmac can be mounted closer to the host vehicle improving the road handling characteristics of the HGV.
