Big performance features are standard on a Loadmac MDFL
24 May 2007
Loadmac, the UK’s fastest growing and most advanced Multi Directional (MDFL) Forklift business has developed a range which heralds a new generation of materials handling equipment, big on design features, big on operator benefits, and big on performance and safety features too.
Loadmac, based in Rugby, has the vital specialist ability to understand its customer’s application requirements. The company has utilised its expertise and developed one of the most advanced range of MDFL’s available.
Operators are protected in a large, comfortable cabin, which features an ergonomically designed suspended seat, heater and de-mister, a reinforced frame gives added protection, and the split/barn door means improved ventilation. The barn door also folds flat, aiding driver visibility.
A unique low profile exhaust means that fumes are taken from the vehicle well below operator level. Low emission Kubota engines sit at the heart of each MDFL – they are proven to perform reliably, even under the harshest conditions. A Volkswagen LPG powered option is available which is quieter than a diesel run version – important for long-term operator use and for those working close to the machine.
Loadmac is thought to be the only MDFL manufacturer to engineer its machines to be absolutely stationery and “braked” when the operator is changing directional modes. It means the unit cannot inadvertently slip or move in any direction making it extremely safe.
An advanced all-wheel hydrostatic drive delivers equal drive to all wheels, all of the time. The Loadmac V series MDFL can safely handle slopes, building lips, kerbs and ramps. It is superbly stable with a powerful range giving lift capacities of up to 6000 kg.
Two-speed drive allows users to move efficiently around in open spaces but when precision and accuracy is called for; when positioning materials – the machines give unbeatable fine control.
Loadmac has developed a comprehensive range of MDLF’s for use across a broad range of application sectors, including timber, steel, extrusions, construction and
builders merchants. The company prides itself with an unsurpassed knowledge and understanding by application sector and therefore can deliver machines designed and engineered to perform.
